An unknown male attempted to assault a female student in the women's bathroom on the 100-level of Frist Campus Center at approximately 10:25 this evening. The student is fine, according to University officials.
The assailant has not been found. He is reported, according to Public Safety, to be a Spanish-speaking male in his 20s of "medium" skin tone, approximately 5'6" in height and 160-170 pounds. He has brown eyes and dark brown or black hair. He is also described as having a "nervous twitch" on his right shoulder.
He is wearing a beige short-sleeved shirt, brown cargo shorts, brown work boots, with a light blue baseball cap with the word "Guatemala" embroidered on it.
"As far as we know, this person is still at large," Public Safety Chief Steven Healy said this evening.
Public Safety officials are looking for individuals with any information about the event. They should call the department at 258-3134.
