David Bradford, professor and associate dean of the Wilson School, remains in critical condition after being admitted to Temple University Hospital Feb. 8 for treatment of third-degree burns.
Bradford was injured in a fire in his home on Pine Street and suffered burns over "a large portion of his body," according to a statement last week from the Princeton Borough Police Department.
Wilson School Dean Anne-Marie Slaughter '80 said she is deeply saddened by Bradford's injuries.
"This is a horrible thing that has happened," Slaughter said. "[Bradford] is an enormously valued member of the school. We are all keeping him in our thoughts."
The Princeton Borough Police Department has not released an update on Bradford's condition.
Lt. Dennis McManimon said Bradford is "in the hospital, but we are not bothering the family."
The fire was caused by lit candles that ignited a Christmas tree in Bradford's house.
