Meet the new 'Prince.'
Today, The Daily Princetonian makes its official switch to color broadsheet and unveils a redesigned look. And now that we've caught your attention, we intend to keep it.
Since 1876, the 'Prince' has provided dependable coverage of the issues that affect this campus. We've chronicled the people and events that have shaped the university we attend.
But the campus is changing, and we're changing with it.
With Whitman College and the four-year residential colleges on the horizon, an increasing class size and shifting student composition, this is a time of transformation for Princeton.
You can rely on us to be there every step of the way.
As the 26 members of the 129th managing board, we have the privilege of taking charge at this historic moment in our newspaper's history. We'll continue to offer comprehensive coverage of breaking news, but our new format will give us more space for in-depth features that probe deeply into the larger issues that affect your lives.
Bigger, bolder photos will catch your eye, and we hope you'll find something that captures your interest every day.
The edits page is your space. Use it.
Our editorial board will take controversial stances, getting out in front of issues rather than refereeing after the fact. At the same time, we'll allow the minority to voice its opinion through signed dissenting editorials, which will run alongside their unsigned counterparts when warranted. If we don't annoy, delight and outrage you at some point during this year, we're not doing our job. When that happens, let us know.
Street, the arts and leisure section that debuted last year, is back with a redesigned look and a vibrant staff. Expect to be surprised every week by an eclectic range of stories about the campus and local scene.
Today marks the beginning of a new era at the 'Prince,' and we – the 129th managing board – will work day in and day out to make the next 131 issues the best they can be.

Join us as we begin a new chapter.
