Men's basketball
In an upset of not so epic proportions the men's club basketball team defeated the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves of the NBA.
When the 'Prince' tied to contact sports editor Zack Pierce, an avid T-wolves fan, for comment, we were informed by his mother that Zack had sworn off basketball and was now studying holistic medicine somewhere in Northern California.
Women's streaking
The University announced yesterday that President Shirley Tilghman approved an increase in the club sports' budget that would allow Princeton to field a women's streaking team.
So far membership has been limited to Cottage members and Pi Phis. Members of Theta's freshman class who were "completely comfortable" taking off their clothes were thankfully rejected.
The Ghost Editor
The 'Prince' would like to introduce you to the sports editor you've never heard of...Sarah Kiernan. Kiernan, of Greenwich, Conn., has shockingly been a sports editor for an entire year yet managed to write only one column.
Sarah is five feet, seven inches tall, has medium length brown hair, and enjoys long walks on the beach with tall, dark and handsome men. Interested singles, please call 258-8114. This article is part of The Daily Princetonian's 2005 Joke Issue.
