Women's basketball has won five consecutive games, and freshman forward Meagan Cowher is a big reason for the team's success.
Cowher reached double-figures in scoring three times over break, her highest total coming last Monday against St. Peter's. Shooting 13-for-17 from the field, Cowher scored 28 points and led the Tigers to a 67-50 victory — their most lopsided win of the season.
The 6'1'' rookie also netted 19 versus Army on Wednesday. Against New Orleans on Dec. 18, Cowher dropped in 13 points on 6-9 from the field, the first game in the current five-game streak.
Cowher also scored 12 against Fairleigh Dickinson on Dec. 30.
For her contributions in leading women's basketball to a five-game winning streak, The Daily Princetonian names Meagan Cowher its Athlete of the Break.
