It's not over yet

College students, for all their reputation for political activism, are without a doubt the least courted of voters. It is only natural that politicians follow the votes, which are much more plentiful in Boca Raton than Berkeley. But with the decisive Super Tuesday primaries just days away, young liberal voters now can make themselves heard in our political process. Furthermore, in November, with all the indicators of a tight race, including the entry of independent candidate Ralph Nader, students of all political persuasions could make the difference.

Of course, those of you who spend your precious free time perusing the 'Prince' are a particularly enlightened group who no doubt long ago sent away for your absentee ballots, but that doesn't mean that you don't have friends who have not been so conscientious. As citizens, it is not only our responsibility to cast votes ourselves, but also to encourage voting among our peers, especially since registration drives by Princeton political groups have been lackluster at best.

To be sure, one vote may never decide an election, but if everyone voted who didn't think their votes would count, it could swing many elections.
