Gay marriage debate misses daily reality of homosexual life

I was pleased to read so many thoughtful responses to Michael Fragoso's oped piece on homosexuality. I must say though, I have grown personally very tired of this debate. I'm tired of pointing out the irrational fears, the factual inaccuracies and the flaws in logic in arguments like Fragoso's. What exactly would Mr. Fragoso like me to do with my partner of fourteen years, my two children, our house and mortgage, our membership in the local church, the taxes I pay to the IRS, my Princeton degree, et cetera? Is he expecting me to go crawl under a rock somewhere? I guess I don't really know what the point of the debate is. But I am, indeed, quite tired of it. Jennifer Bryan '83
