Basketball star Nate Walton '01 for Governor
With the race for the California gubernatorial seat heating up in one of the biggest political dramas in recent years, one former Princeton athlete hopes to bring some solutions to the problems that Californians face. Nate Walton '01, one of the better court stars to come through head coach John Thompson '88's program in recent years, is on the ballot to replace the incumbent Gray Davis who, if recalled, would be replaced by any one of over 100 candidates.

Kroshus and Smith earn spots on weekly Honor Roll
Senior Emily Kroshus and junior Austin Smith both earned mentions on this week's www.iyvleaguesports.com cross country honor roll for their performances at the Battlefield Invitational. Kroshus led the women's team around the course, finishing just under one second off the course record in first place. When the rest of the pack had crossed the finishing line, the Tigers had defeated LaSalle and Manhattan. Smith also led the men's team around the course, and his time helped boost the team over Manhattan, although the Tigers lost to LaSalle.
