If the men's water polo team was worried about offensive production this season after saying goodbye to Kevin Foster '03 and Robert Urquhart '03, they certainly don't have to worry any longer.
As the Tigers kicked off their season last weekend hosting the North/South Invitational, sophomore driver John Stover tallied 14 goals in the four wins for Princeton. The team managed to defend DeNunzio Pool from the likes of Queens College, Harvard, Brown and Iona.
On top of his leading-scorer credentials, Stover also won 10 of 11 sprints and posted one assist and three steals on the weekend. Against Queens College, last season's Eastern Conference champion, Stover shot an impressive 100 percent (going four-for-four), as the team toppled the former champs, 10-1.
