Through further investigation, police recovered 35 laser cartridges in addition to several University items in the suspect's 1993 red Ford Explorer, according to the releases.

Authorities believe that Evenson had been taking cartridges from clusters for the past few days and had stored them in his car.

Township Police charged him with two counts of burglary and three counts of theft, and the Princeton Borough Police charged him with possession of stolen property. He was released with a summons.

Evenson was also arrested in February for allegedly shoplifting $448.90 worth of merchandise from the U-Store.

Evenson could not be reached for comment.
