The Princeton-Lafayette football game scheduled for tomorrow night at Princeton Stadium has been postponed as Lafayette has decided to suspend all of its athletic contests through Sunday. Information on whether or not the game will be rescheduled is not immediately available.
Princeton's decision to resume a normal schedule as soon as possible included all aspects of student life, including Thursday's first day of classes and athletic events. In that light, the football game was to go on unless Lafayette elected not to play, an announcement that came from the school Thursday morning.
Princeton will open its season at Lehigh Saturday, Sept. 22, and its home opener will be Sept. 29 against Columbia at 7 p.m.
Games that were also postponed Thursday include the women's volleyball tournament at George Washington and the women's soccer team's trip to the Dartmouth Tournament in Hanover, N.H.
