Editor's Note: Wimbush was found not guilty of both charges in a trial held on April 16, 2001.
In an interview last night, Forton Wimbush '02 denied charges that he harassed and falsely imprisoned an 18-year-old female Jan. 14.
"All of the accusations are false and I'll make sure that's proven," Wimbush said.
The alleged victim is a Princeton area resident and is not a University student, Wimbush said. She is an acquaintance of Wimbush, who also lives in the area, he said.
Though never detained by Borough Police, he was served complaint summons at his dorm room several hours after the alleged incident.
Wimbush declined to comment on the status of his legal defense. He is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon.
