Marquee Matchup

Saturday the men's soccer team faces a must-win situation against Brown. But the Tigers (6-4-0 overall, 0-2-0) may be without their leading scorer, junior forward Mike Nugent, and their starting goalkeeper, sophomore Jason White.

White and Nugent were injured Wednesday night during a 4-0 loss to Seton Hall and were forced to leave the game. Their status is uncertain entering the Tigers' third Ivy game of the season and the situation could not be more dire.

With no Ivy wins so far, Princeton's hopes of a second straight championship are in shambles. And with each sloppy loss, Princeton's playoff chances continue to dwindle.

The Tigers need a win. But without Nugent and White, the team is reeling. Nugent led the Tigers with seven goals, his 14 points an Ivy league best. White ranked second overall among Ivy League goalkeepers with a 1.00 goals against average.

Saturday against Brown (6-3-1, 2-0-0) the Tigers will be challenged to define their season — if it's not too late already.
