Freshman attack Claire Miller was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week after leading the field hockey team to convincing victories over Drexel and Yale. Miller scored two goals — her first collegiate points — in Princeton's 6-0 win over the Dragons. She then opened the scoring for the Tigers in their 3-0 victory over the Elis.

With a pair of assists last week, senior attack Hilary Matson moved into a tie for fourth place on the all-time Tiger assist list. Amy MacFarlane '97 finished her career with 27 assists — the same total Matson now boasts.

...Northwestern University announced the hiring of three new assistant men's basketball coaches yesterday, two of whom are former Princeton standouts. Mitch Henderson '98 and Craig Robinson '83 will join Paul Lee as Bill Carmody's assistants with the Wildcats.

Henderson was a guard on the Tiger team that went 27-2 in 1997-98. Robinson, a two-time Ivy League Player of the Year, scored 1,441 collegiate points, putting him in fourth place on Princeton's all-time scoring list.
