In addition to music and dance performances, the Arts Council showcased local weavers, painters and craftsmen at its Mercado Cultural across the street from the Library.

The festivities also included cultural food for sale as well as a used books exchange for both adults and children, according to The Times of Trenton.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund’s Fair Chance Fund to help provide the Hispanic community with legal immigration assistance and legal representation.
