It takes two to tango: Fostering student-faculty relations

English professor William Howarth has spent his entire career of 36 years at the University. During that time, he has had ample opportunity to observe the quality of the University's professor-student relationships, reputed to rank among the closest in the world."When we try to recruit faculty from outside universities, they tell us, 'You teach too much at Princeton.' Pink eye infections stall during vacation

The outbreak of conjunctivitis at the University, which began last month and has afflicted nearly 300 undergraduate and graduate students, subsided last week while most students were off campus for Spring Break."We're certainly hopeful that having people separated from each other may give us a break," said Dr. Pamela Bowen, the University's director of health services.

Prospects2 selects semifinalists in sixth residential college design competition

The Prospects2 competition had more than a 29-percent increase in submissions this year than its inaugural contest last year.Prospects2 is a student group founded to challenge the University community to rethink how space is used on campus.This year the group held a contest, asking for design proposals for the sixth residential college.From more than 60 initial entries, a committee of students selected 13 semifinalists who will now elaborate on their proposals and present them before a prize jury on April 13.

Travelers anticipate long lines this week

With midterms coming to a close, many students are packing up for spring break. New board members take GSG positions
