The vast majority of Princeton students plan on voting or have already voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential Election, according to a poll conducted by The Daily Princetonian. 73.5 percent of respondents indicated they are casting a vote for Harris, compared to 15.9 percent for Donald Trump. Among college students nationwide in the Harvard Institute of Politics (IOP) Youth Poll, 64 percent indicated they would vote for Harris and 30 percent for Trump.

The Ivy League has a long and storied presence at the Olympic Games. In the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, 241 men from 14 nations competed in Athens, Greece. Team USA was made of 12 men, all from Columbia, Harvard, and Princeton.

After winning the Ivy League tournament on May 11, Princeton softball (30–18 overall, 14–7 Ivy League) received an automatic bid to the NCAA regional tournament in Lafayette, La. In the double elimination tournament, the Tigers lost to No. 13 seeded Louisiana (45–19, 22–2 Sun Belt Conference) in five innings but beat Ole Miss (31–27, 7–17 SEC) in the loser game.

On Monday, May 20, at 3:43 p.m., TigerCall Program Manager Madison McCall and the AG24 Co-Chairs sent an email to 79 members of the Class of 2024 who “indicated an interest in potentially volunteering with the Senior Pledge Campaign, also known as AG24.” McCall shared a spreadsheet listing all members of the class with their pledge status, alongside their major, contact information, and data about their activity on campus, including residential college information, eating clubs, sports, and other extracurriculars.

The Class of 2026 Declaration Day was originally scheduled for April 12, but was rescheduled for April 19 due to a forecasted thunderstorm. Declaration period for sophomores pursuing A.B. degrees ended on April 15. 439 members of the class — 27 percent — who are pursuing B.S.E. degrees declared last April.

Coming off of a 2–1 loss against Harvard last weekend, Princeton softball (19–11, 8–4 Ivy League) swept a three-game series this weekend against Dartmouth (9–15, 5–7 Ivy League). With the sweep, the Tigers are now 23–22 against the Big Green since 2002. This series occurred during Princeton Pride Month and the first two games of the series were dubbed ‘Pride Game,’ as the Tigers displayed a pride flag in front of their dugout.

Each winter, a “bubble” is erected over Powers Field in Princeton Stadium following the final football game of the season. The Bubble is used by varsity, club, and intramural sports and allows for further utilization of the field during the winter months. With the days of the Bubble numbered as spring approaches, The Daily Princetonian looked at the history of the Bubble, which teams utilize it, and how it affects play during the winter months.

After recent wins at Jadwin Gymnasium this weekend, both of Princeton’s basketball teams remain undefeated at home. Home games bring many advantages, including the presence of the band, the cheer team, and thousands of fans in the stadium built for Tiger victories — and recent games have seen the largest crowds flock to Jadwin in over a decade.
