A bomb threat referencing the University was called into the Princeton Police Department at 5:16 p.m. on Saturday, according to a police press release.
The release said the threat was “non-specific,” directed toward an “unspecified Princeton University location” and made by an anonymous caller.
Following the call, officers from PPD and the Department of Public Safety conducted a preliminary investigation and determined the threat was not credible.
University spokesperson Martin Mbugua said there were no disruptions to campus operations.
A PPD communications officer declined to comment beyond what was stated in the press release.
The campus was evacuated in June 2013 following a bomb threat that was placed to a campus phone. In that case, the University and law enforcement determined the threat was credible.
