The run-off election between Cheng and Gansa was announced last Friday after no candidate in the presidential race won more than 50 percent of the popular vote. Voting in the runoff was open to all undergraduate students until noon Wednesday.

Both Cheng and Gansa have encouraged students to participate in the election over social media. Cheng published a platform addressing items on Gansa’s agenda, including bike reform and waffle fries. Gansa expressed on his Facebook campaign page that “a waffle fried future is still a week away.”

Results will be announced at noon on Friday.
