Brenda Smith, 39, allegedly gave a pharmacist a prescription with the forged name of a doctor and a “fictitious patient,” Borough Police Captain Nick Sutter said in a press release.
Officers also tracked down Smith’s alleged accomplice, Meagan Brinkley, who was on Nassau Street. Police said they believe that Brinkley aided Smith by forging the documents. Smith had active warrants from the police departments of Philadelphia, Doylestown, Pa., and Burlington City, N.J. Smith was also found with drug paraphernalia, Sutter said.
