They will compete against all the Ivy Leagues including.

Princeton has swum against all these teams in the regular season and beat all the teams by at least 32 points, with the largest margin against Harvard at 94 points. Doing it all again could prove to be a tough task, however.

If they continue to perform as well as they have during the regular season, it should be a successful weekend for the Tigers.

Princeton has not had a meet since Feb. 5. The time off has been a boon for the team, which had previously swam on three consecutive weekends.

Two swimmers to look out for on Princeton’s team are co-captains Alicia Aemisegger and Courtney Kilkuts. Aemisegger has shattered record after record in her time with the Tigers. As a senior, she will be looking to close out her Ivy League career with a bang. The meet will also serve as preparation for the NCAA championships, which start on March 18 in West Lafayette, Ind. Aemisegger’s key races are the individual medley and the breast stroke.

Kilkuts will look to close out her Ivy League career with a fourth consecutive victory in the 200-yard individual medley. Since arriving on campus, Kilkuts has won the event every year. Like Aemisegger, Kilkuts’ featured events are the IM and the breast stroke.

Other key swimmers to follow are freshman Carter Stephens, sophomore Meredith Monroe and junior Megan Waters.

Stephens finished fourth in both the 200-yard butterfly, the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly at the Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet. Stephens is one of the up-and-coming stars of the Ivy League and will look to continue her rise this weekend.

Sophomore Meredith Monroe has been a key contributor to the team all season. Monroe won the 100- and 200-yard backstroke at the HYP meet. She was also a part of the relay team that took first in the 200-yard medley relay.

Waters showcased her dominance of the short events at the HYP meet. The highlight was a victory in the 50-yard freestyle.

Waters also took second in the She also took second in the 100-yard freestyle and third in the 100-yard butterfly.

The 200-yard medley relay team has proven to be a force to be reckoned with this season. In the HYP meet, the relay team of Monroe, Kilkuts, Aemisegger and Waters broke the school record.

The Tigers will also look to gain ground on their opponents from the diving board. The divers have consistently scored highly and are regularly within the top five at meets.

Next weekend the men’s swimming team will participate at home in the Ivy League Championship.
