A: In one of the first games my freshman year, I went up for a header and got knocked out and had to get seven stitches in the back of my head. It was a great welcome to college soccer. I was out for two weeks, and my first game back I got an elbow to the face and broke my nose. That was a great welcome back to college soccer.
Q: What has been the greatest highlight in your sports career?
A: Opening up Roberts Stadium with a win against BU this year.
Q: Who is your quirkiest teammate? Why?
A: [Defender] Melissa Whitley ’08. For a lot of reasons. I have never met anyone like her, and anyone that knows her will agree.
Q: What has been your most embarrassing moment with the team?
A: We were away at Cornell, and after the game I accidently walked into the other team’s shower.
Q: What’s the best part about being an athlete on campus?
A: Having a team behind your back and being able to represent Princeton in your own way.
Q: What’s the worst/hardest part about being an athlete on campus?
A: Getting back late Sunday night/early Monday morning and having to go to class in less than six hours. Also missing meals for late practices.

Q: If not soccer, what other sport would you play?
A: Either tennis or swimming. I learned how to play tennis before soccer.
Q: If you were a coach for a day, you would…
A: Take the team to watch a Champions League game. We don’t get many opportunities to watch the beautiful game at its best.
Q: What has been your favorite class taken at Princeton?
A: [PSY 320:] Theories of Psychotherapy with Comer. We went on field trips to psych wards.
Q: Do you have a pregame ritual?
A: I tie and untie my cleats at least two times, I never put my shinguards on during warmup, and I do two tuck ups right before the whistle blows.
Q: What’s the most embarrassing song on your iPod?
A: A Hannah Montana song.
