Senior center Nicholas Seaver is the men's water polo team's leading returning scorer from last season. This year, he is the second leading scorer for the No. 14 Tigers, with 28 goals. In addition to his scoring, Seaver has added seven assists for the Tigers. He is third on the team with 17 steals. After last year, he was named second team all-southern and second team all-eastern.
What was your welcome to college moment?
When I showed up to my dorm in Forbes before anyone was there, moving in all by myself in the Addition. I was all alone in what felt like a hotel from The Shining...it was a scary welcome to Princeton.
What has been your greatest highlight in sports?
Eastern championships in fall 2005 during my sophomore year, I scored a goal off a pinpoint pass from Chris Kelsch against St. Francis in double sudden death overtime to send the team to the Final Four. I didn't know I had scored a goal until my coach ran and jumped into the pool, running in midair as he fell. Then we took UCLA to overtime in the next game when they went on to win the tournament.
What is the funniest story you have about coach?
Our coach got too excited and fell into the pool, then he did it again ten minutes later in the same game. His body is shaped like a nugget so he sunk to the bottom of the pool.
Who is your quirkiest teammate? Why?
Brendan Colgan, nicknamed Mooseknuckle for being simultaneously utterly confused and totally focused in every game situation.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
I was playing in Santa Barbara and had my suit torn off during practice. I had to get out of the pool in front of everyone to get it fixed.
What is the best part about being an athlete on campus?

Having your teammates around you wherever you go.
What is the worst or hardest part about being an athlete on campus?
Turning down fans who want autographs.
What is your favorite thing to do when not practicing?
My roommate Eric Murphy and I listen to classical music and think of anagrams.
What other sport you would play if not water polo?
I'd like to play basketball but I have no functioning knees.
What is the favorite class you have taken at Princeton?
Classical mythology.
What is your favorite thing to do on the street?
Thinking of anagrams in the TI library to stump my roommate.

Zach Beckmann, aka Joe Rogan — girls love his moustache.
