Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist '74 warned Senate Democrats not to stall the nomination of Samuel Alito '72 to the Supreme Court.
In an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Frist said he is prepared to strip Democrats of their ability to filibuster Alito's nomination to the court.
"The answer is yes," First said when asked about whether he be prepared to use the so-called "nuclear option" and change Senate procedures to restrict a Democratic attempt to filibuster. "Supreme Court nominees deserve an up-or-down vote, and it would be absolutely wrong to deny him that."
