The women's water polo team finished its season with a fourth-place finish at Eastern Championships this weekend in Bloomington, Ind.
After opening play Saturday afternoon with a 10-6 victory over Brown, the Tigers fell to eventual champion Michigan, 8-3, Saturday night in the semifinals. Princeton then closed its season with an 11-4 loss to Hartwick in the third-place game.
Sophomore driver Karin Reyner led the way against Brown, scoring three goals. Seven other Tigers each chipped in single scores.
That evening, the Wolverines ran away with an easy victory after scoring the contest's first five goals. Sophomore driver Danielle Carlson got Princeton on the board just before halftime and scored two more goals in the second half, but that was all the Tigers could muster for the evening.
On Sunday morning, Princeton trailed Hartwick just 4-3 at halftime, but the Hawks scored six third quarter goals and cruised to victory.
Sophomore driver Elyse Colgan was the Tigers' lone representative on the All-Tournament team.
