Women's soccer

Princeton finally got its chance to open its Ivy League season against rival Dartmouth on Sunday. The Tigers made the most of the opportunity, dropping the Big Green, 1-0, on the strength of a goal from freshman forward Kristina Fontanez. See tomorrow's 'Prince' for the full story.

Women's volleyball

The Tigers stumbled to start their weekend by losing to Rider, 3-2, after holding a 2-1 lead. The Tigers took their next two matches at the Rider Invitational, however, stopping Hartford, 3-2, and Long Island University, 3-1. Check tomorrow's 'Prince' for the full story.

Men's water polo

Men's water polo had a very impressive weekend, beating George Washington, Navy, and Johns Hopkins on consecutive days. Friday against George Washington, junior two-meter Robert Urquhart scored a remarkable 10 goals, pulling the Tigers out of an early 5-1 deficit to win 12-7. Tennis

Junior Kavitha Krishnamurthy won the William and Mary Tennis Invitational for the women's team, while Judson Williams took the Farnworth Invitational for the men's team by beating teammate Darren Joe in the finals. See Wednesday's 'Prince' for the full story.

Wrestling

After dropping a close match to Columbia, 19-15, Princeton proved it still has a long way to go as it fell hard to strong Cornell and Navy squads. The Tigers lost to the Big Red, 34-9, and to the Midshipmen, 31-6.
