Princeton firefighters, First Aid and Rescue Squad, Public Safety and Borough Police responded to a kitchen fire that interrupted Passover dinner at the Center for Jewish Life yesterday at about 6:50 p.m.
According to Public Safety Lt. Lloyd Best, sparks ignited cooking gas that had been leaking from a CJL kitchen stove gas line.

Best said CJL kitchen staff turned off the gas main and extinguished the fire before firefighters and police arrived.
No one was injured in the incident, and no damage was reported, Best said. — Phil Novack
