Within the first five minutes of the opening quarter, Princeton took off with a 3–0 run. They held the lead for three minutes before the Terrapins scored three goals of their own. By the end of the half, the Tigers were down by four. Princeton would find the net one last time in the last 15 seconds of the third before the Terrapins left the Tigers in the dust with a 5–0 run. Junior attack Kate Mulham led Princeton in scoring with five goals, a career high.

The Tigers’ second matchup of the week went considerably better than their first. With a dominant offense, Princeton claimed a 17–5 victory over the Dartmouth Big Green (3–8, 1–4 Ivy). Again, the Tigers opened with a 3–0 run, scoring more in the first nine minutes than Dartmouth would over the span of two quarters. At the half, the Tigers managed to pull away with a six-goal advantage. In the third quarter, the Tigers’ explosive defense managed to keep the Big Green out of the net. Unfortunately for Dartmouth, two goals in the fourth were not enough to close the 12-goal gap.

The Tigers will take on Penn on Sherrerd Field on Wednesday, April 20 for another League matchup.

Men’s Lacrosse vs. Dartmouth

On Saturday afternoon, No. 3 men’s lacrosse (9–2 overall, 7–0 Ivy League) battled against the Dartmouth Big Green (4–7, 0–4) for a 12–10 victory. The Tigers were the first to score, but the Big Green would take a brief one-goal lead. By the half, the two teams were tied 5–5. In the third quarter, the Tigers found some momentum, taking off with a 4–0 run. However, like Princeton, Dartmouth found their rhythm, too. Between the third and the fourth, the Big Green rallied with a five-goal run to take the lead, 10–9. With 12 minutes to play, the Tigers managed to prevent Dartmouth from scoring while netting three of their own to secure the win. The Tigers caused 18 turnovers while the Big Green led in faceoff wins.

Next, the Tigers will take on No. 17 Harvard on Saturday, April 23.
