Langar: A Community Meal (Mar. 7) at Murray Dodge Hall. Langar refers to the practice in Sikhism of providing a free meal to visitors, regardless of background. The student organization Sikhs of Princeton invites all students to Murray Dodge for a warm, free, vegetarian meal this Thursday.
Art X Fashion: Spring/Summer 2019 Student Fashion Show (Mar. 7) at Princeton University Art Museum. The Princeton University Art Museum is hosting this event to showcase the runway designs of five student stylists. The fashion at the show was inspired by the collections at the museum.
Más Flow: ¡Qué Horror! (Mar. 7–9) at Frist Campus Center. Más Flow’s annual show is occurring this week. This year’s performance is said to be inspired by “cheesy horror films with a Latinx twist.” Get tickets this week, so that you can bop along and shimmy in your seats with the student dancers.
PUO: Soloist Spotlight (Mar. 8–9) at Richardson Auditorium. Princeton University Orchestra’s performance this weekend features the 2018–19 concerto winners. Haeun Jung ’20 (violin) and Katie Liu ’20 (viola) will perform a piece by Mozart while Hanson Kang ’20 (clarinet) will play Jean Françaix’s “Clarinet Concerto.” Lou Chen ’19 is also featured as a guest conductor.
VTone: Octave (Mar. 8–9) at Wilson Black Box. Celebrating its 8th anniversary, VTone will be presenting their annual spring show “Octave” this weekend. As the premier East Asian music group on campus, the a cappella group has a wide repertoire, ranging from Disney songs to K-Pop.
