Four people were hit by the man’s dislocated body parts and suffered minor injuries. Three of the injured individuals were taken away from the station on stretchers and were transported to a nearby hospital.

About 300 people were on the northbound train from Trenton to New York City.

Train service was initially suspended, but was later restored with residual delays of approximately 30 minutes. The New Brunswick train station is located just a few minutes from the Princeton Junction station, which serves the town and the University.
