Men's Hockey: Breakout sophomore a ‘gorilla’ on the ice

Fresh from an organic chemistry exam, sophomore forward Jack Berger of the men’s hockey team was relieved to hear that the interview questions would be much easier than the ones he had just tackled on his test. On Tap with ... Dylan Ward and Ash Egan

Sophomore men’s squash players Ash Egan and Dylan Ward met each other as 10-year-olds at the Princeton squash camp and are still up to their old habits. Off the court, Ward is the straight main to Egan’s comic foil as the pair trade jokes, barbs and the occasional insult. On the court, the two Philadelphia natives are part of the reason why the team enters winter break undefeated.

Cricket: Bowled over by a foreign sport

I was only in Dillon Gymnasium, but at the time, it sort of felt like I had gone to a faraway place. In my mind, it was a parallel universe, where baseball had different rules and artifacts had conspicuously British-sounding names. Of course, the sport I was learning was cricket, and instead of being played in a parallel universe, it’s just not played on this side of the globe.
