Princeton’s very own a cappella group, the all-male Footnotes, will be launched into the national spotlight on Dec. 9 as they make their debut on NBC’s a cappella competition, “The Sing-Off.” After the announcement came on Monday that the Footnotes will be participating in the competition’s fourth season, Street sat down with group members Jonathan Schwartz ’14 and Ryan Fauber ’15 to talk about their experience on the show.
Defense courses for women have been around for a while — such courses even became the latest Hollywood exercise fad. But a lot of people on campus might not know about the Rape Aggression Defense System, or RAD, a program offered to women by Princeton’s own Department of Public Safety and co-sponsored by the Sexual Harassment/Assault Advising, Resources and Education office.
It’s no secret that it’s impossible to get motivated at the start of a semester. What with seeing all your friends again for the first time in months, avoiding sobriety during Frosh Week and pretending day-drinking is acceptable at Lawnparties, it’s almost as if the University planned to make you forget the reason you actually came to Princeton: to attend classes. Thankfully, the University also kindly offers us a solution to our lack of motivation: the Add/Drop period.
