Both the men's and women's track and field teams returned to Jadwin Gymnasium to host their season home opener at the New Year’s Invitational this past Friday, after convincing performances in the Metro Holiday Meet at Ocean Breeze Park in Staten Island a week prior.

Both the men's and women's track and field teams opened their seasons on Saturday as they competed in the Metro Holiday Meet at Ocean Breeze Park in Staten Island. Although the offseason was long, both teams came out of the gates in fine form and will hope to continue to do so for the rest of the season.

Both the men's and women's squash teams will travel to Philadelphia in the next two days as they face off against host Drexel University. The men's team plays on Tuesday, before the women's team faces-off against Drexel on Wednesday.

The men’s basketball team (2-0) returned to their old stomping ground in Dillon Gymnasium as the team played its first game there since Jan. 11, 1969. The team hosted Saint Peter’s (1-3) as part of this fixture in front of a sell-out crowd of 1,306.

The fall season for the men’s and women’s heavyweight and lightweight rowing teams came to a victorious close as the Tigers hosted the annual Princeton Chase at Lake Carnegie. Competing against some of the nation’s top teams, the Princeton boats impressed in all weight classes.

After a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Dartmouth (6-3-1 overall, 2-0 Ivy League) to start the Ivy League campaign and a bounce back 3-2 win against Seton Hall (0-9-1) at home, the Princeton men's soccer team (4-3-2, 0-1-1) travelled to Providence, Rhode Island to face off against Brown (5-4-1, 1-0-1), who defeated Columbia (6-2-1, 1-1) last weekend.

Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the Princeton Inter-Regional Meet this past weekend, hosted on West Windsor Fields on Saturday. The men’s team was coming off a three-week break after a fantastic victory at the Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet hosted in Cambridge where they beat perennial rivals Harvard and Yale to first place. The women’s team had themselves a two-week break after finishing second in the HYP and coming third in the Iona Meet in New York.

After an impressive 3-0 win at home against Yale last weekend where the players dominated their opponents, the Tigers (7-3 overall, 2-0 Ivy League) headed to Dartmouth with high hopes to continue their unbeaten start against Ivy League opponents. This was to be a tough matchup for the Tigers, however, as they have not been able to win at Dartmouth since 2007.

After a disappointing 48-13 defeat against Chestnut Hill (1-0), the Tigers (0-2) had their home opener against the United States Military Academy (2-0) in an attempt to end their 102-game streak without a victory against a CSFL opponent. The Tigers have not had great success against Army in recent history, as the team was shut out in five of the last six meetings, losing 57-0 in their most recent meeting in 2013 and only gaining 60 offensive yards.

One week after competing at the Penn Invitational, the men’s tennis team returned to Princeton at the Lenz Tennis Center to compete in the Ivy Plus Tournament as it hosted 21 other tennis teams in the three-day tournament. The Ivy Plus Tournament was the Tigers’ first home tournament of the season and the Tigers looked to click into gear after a start-stop tournament in Philadelphia.

After a great season where the Princeton men’s tennis team qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 17 years before losing out to Minnesota in the Round of 64, the Tigers will look to repeat such success this season.

This past weekend, the men’s and women’s track and field teams honored their senior teammates at the Princeton Open, which was hosted over Friday and Saturday at Weaver Track Stadium. In the final regular season meet, the teams hoped to bid farewell to their seniors with some strong performances as well as prepare for the upcoming postseason events.

The Princeton baseball team (7-32 overall, 4-16 Ivy League) closed out the 2015 schedule after completing a four-game series against the Cornell Big Red (12-26, 9-11). The first two games of the series were played at Clarke Field as the Tigers closed out their home schedule before both teams travelled to Ithaca, N.Y. to wrap up the regular season.

The men’s and women’s golf teams finished their spring seasons this past weekend at the Ivy League Championships at the Saucon Valley Golf Club in Bethlehem, Pa. The men’s competition had all eight teams, while the women’s competition only included seven teams, as Cornell did not field a team. Although neither of Princeton's teams could capture the team title, the weekend belong to sophomore Quinn Prchal, who brought home Princeton’s 14thindividual title since 1975 and the second in three years.

This past weekend, the men’s and women’s rugby teams competed in the Ivy League Women’s Seven-a-Side Championship and the Rickerson Cup, respectively. Both teams have had extremely good seasons and were looking for a convincing and memorable end to the season as they headed into their respective competitions.

The Larry Ellis Invitational allowed both the men’s and women’s track and field teams to continue their great season as they faced tough opponents, including a large group of elite athletes. However, the Tigers were unfazed by this prospect and showed their abilities as they went toe-to-toe with the opposition.

After starting the season with a win against Georgetown and two cup triumphs in the Navy-Princeton Rowing Cup and the Childs Cup, the Princeton heavyweight rowing team continued their success with a stunning victory at the Compton Cup against Harvard and MIT. The Tigers came into the weekend ranked third, while Harvard was fourth.

Both the men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the Quad Meet this past weekend, and both teams enjoyed great success as they both came first at the event against Monmouth, Rutgers and Vermont.
