Fahrenheit by BodyHype Dance Company (Jan. 10–12) at Theater Intime. Things are heating up at Princeton with BodyHype’s fall semester show. The dancers will perform a range of styles, from hip-hop to contemporary. Student shows are a great way to inject energy into a tough week, but it’s best to get tickets soon as the Saturday late show is already sold out.

“The Niceties” (Jan. 11–Feb. 10) at the Berlind Theatre at McCarter. Directed by Kimberly Senior, “The Niceties” is a two-person play, following the story of Zoe, a black undergraduate at an Ivy League university, as she discusses her thesis on slavery with her white professor.

Rainbow Fresh (Jan 12) 8 p.m. at Small World on 14th Witherspoon Street. Besides serving delicious drinks, Small World also has live music on the weekends. Use the freedom of reading period to step off campus and see what the town of Princeton has to offer at night.
