Swimming: Teams take 1st at Brown
The men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams both took first place at the Brown Invitational this weekend. Each squad earned more than 1,000 points over the three-day meet, beating the field by more than 200 points. At the same competition, both teams earned head-to-head victories over Brown and Dartmouth to improve to 4-0 in Ivy League dual meets.
Both squads shined in relays, as the men’s and women’s teams each won four of the five relay events. The Tigers will resume competition in 2013, as the women host Villanova on Jan. 4 and the men host Navy on Jan. 5.
Squash: Tigers sweep Ephs
The men’s and women’s squash teams swept Williams on the road on Sunday, each continuing perfect seasons with 9-0 victories. On the women’s side, no Tigers lost a single game in the match — which included freshman Isabella Bersani’s first career victory — and the men dropped a total of four sets. The No. 1 men will host No. 5 Rochester in a heavyweight matchup on Saturday, while the No. 4 women visit No. 12 George Washington.
