Maddox ’11 named BBL Player of the Month
Forward Kareem Maddox ’11 was named the British Basketball League’s Player of the Month in November. Maddox averaged 16 points and 10.6 rebounds in five games last month, helping the Newcastle Eagles rise to second in the BBL standings.
2012-13 is Maddox’s first year in England after he made his pro debut in the Netherlands last season. A member of the 2010-11 Princeton team that won the Ivy League title, Maddox was named first-team All-Ivy and the league’s Defensive Player of the Year in his senior season.
Men’s Lacrosse: Schreiber named preseason All-America
Junior midfielder Tom Schreiber was named a first-team preseason All-America for the 2013 season by Inside Lacrosse. After leading Princeton with 32 goals and 28 assists in 2012, Schreiber was named a first-team All-America for his sophomore season, following a third-team selection in 2011.
The Tigers were ranked No. 13 in Inside Lacrosse’s preseason rankings.
