After 17 years at the helm of Princeton wrestling, Chris Ayers is heading west to lead the Stanford wrestling program as its new head coach. Ayers is credited by many as the man who put Princeton wrestling on the map. During his tenure, Ayers has produced All-Ivy wrestlers, All-Americans, and a National Champion. His legacy will not soon be forgotten.

The 5’11” running back from Plainfield, New Jersey set multiple records during his first season with Tigers. With 11 touchdowns on the season, he set the record for first-year rushing touchdowns. He also amassed 501 rushing yards on the season, and earned four Ivy League Rookie of the Week awards.
