Perhaps the most visible loss was senior quarterback Tommy Wornham, but the Tiger defense was not at all immune to injuries. Senior linebacker and tri-captain Steve Cody and junior lineman Caraun Reid both sat out the season. Since freshmen began arriving on campus for Frosh Week, the rush process for fraternities and sororities has gotten underway much as it has in the past. In their first few days on campus, freshmen have chatted with junior and senior members of Greek organizations in the backyards of eating clubs, been added to email lists informing them of pregames and other rush events and talked with their classmates about which fraternity or sorority they hope to join — if they plan to join one at all.
