In this episode, Brains, Black Holes, and Beyond sits down with Dr. Thalia Gigerenzer on the impact of technology and dating apps on modern interpretations of intimacy as well as exploring love as a research field. Dr. Gigerenzer's research as an anthropologist has focused on Muslim communities in India, including deep dives into the impacts of technology on relationships and courtship.

We investigate its past, from the collection’s acquisition to the establishment of the East Asian Studies program, look at the library's presence in the campus community, and consider its future.

We asked Princeton undergraduates to send us the names of their favorite teacher's assistants — and they answered. Brains, Black Holes, and Beyond interviewed three STEM TAs: Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) PhD candidate Jessica Jin, COS Master's Student Rish Raghu, and Math Undergraduate Ben Zenker '24. Katie Horan ’25 and Jennifer Lee ’23 are both undergraduate students here at Princeton. Over their time as students, both have founded initiatives that advocate for and create space for individuals with disabilities. In the summer of 2022, Horan founded All Bodies, All Brides (ABAB) and in the summer of 2021, Lee founded Asian Americans with Disabilities Initiative (AADI). Today, Daybreak sits down with them both to learn more about their activism to tackle misconceptions about disability and create accommodating spaces.
