This weekend the women's basketball team will have a road trip against Ivy rivals Columbia and Cornell. Despite opening the season with three losses in its first five games, and four in its first seven, the team has recovered to an 11-6 record overall, and 2-1 in Ivy League play.

This weekend the Princeton men's hockey team (4-17 overall, 3-11 ECAC) had an Ivy League road trip, as it took on Harvard (6-11-3, 3-9-3) on Friday and Dartmouth (4-15-3, 3-11-1) on Saturday. These games came after a long break, as Princeton had not played since its home games on Jan. 10 and 11. These were the first away games since Jan. 3 and 4. Both games were very close, but Princeton was on the losing end in both.

The women's ice hockey team took on No. 10 Quinnipiac (15-2-5 overall, 6-2-4 ECAC) last night, the first game of three on a road trip that also takes the team to Union and Rensselaer. The Tigers (9-7-2, 6-5-1) had won their first two games this year, including a 1-0 overtime thriller against Connecticut, but Quinnipiac handed Princeton its first loss of 2014, 3-1.

The No. 18 men's water polo team reached the finals of the CWPA Championship after wild wins over No. 17 Harvard and No. 16 Navy, but the Tigers' (22-6 overall, 7-1 CWPA Southern) luck ran out in the championship match against No. 13 St. Francis.

On Tuesday night, the women’s basketball team played at Rider and came away with a 75-62 victory, its second-straight win, bringing its record to 2-1 overall.

Over fall break, the women’s hockey team had a tough slate of ECAC opponents to officially open its season. The Tigers came out 2-2, with a win over Dartmouth, a loss to No. 7 Harvard, a one-goal loss in a very tough game against No. 3 Cornell and a win against Colgate.

This weekend the No. 15 men's water polo team will play its final three regular season games of the season, taking on George Washington, Fordham and Iona at home. The team played George Washington and Iona earlier in the season, winning both games by an average of 4.5 goals.

The women’s soccer team suffered a third straight tough Ivy loss in a shootout of a game against Brown this weekend. After losing to Yale 3-2 in overtime in their Ivy opener and being defeated by Dartmouth 2-0 in a game that was a lot closer than the final score suggests, the Tigers (4-4-3 overall, 0-3 Ivy League) looked to change their fortunes against Brown (7-2-1, 2-0-1). The opportunities were there, with Princeton taking a total of 14 shots — more than doubling the six they took against Dartmouth — but the team was unable to capitalize.

The women’s soccer team has lost two straight Ivy games after falling to Dartmouth in New Hampshire Saturday night. After a scoreless first half, the Big Green broke through in the second and held on to blank the Tigers (4-3-3 overall, 0-2 Ivy League).

The No. 11 men's water polo team traveled to California this weekend for a tough seven-game series against some of the nation's best teams. The Tigers (10-3) suffered their first loss but went 4-3 overall.

Coming off an undefeated run in the Princeton Invitational last weekend to open its season, the No. 13 men’s water polo team remained undefeated on the road this weekend. Head coach Luis Nicolao notched his 300th career win as the Tigers (6-0) defeated Johns Hopkins and Navy on Saturday, finishing off the perfect weekend with Sunday’s defeat of George Washington.

The No. 15 men's water polo team opened its season strong this weekend, with four victories in four games to win the Princeton Invitational Tournament. The team's first game was Friday evening against now-No. 18 Santa Clara, which the Tigers eked out, 9-7. The next game was an exhibition against Penn, which Princeton won 12-9, and Saturday evening the Tigers defeated rival Harvard by a large margin, 14-7. On Sunday, Princeton completed the sweep, downing Iona 11-6.

This weekend, the Princeton men’s hockey team (9-14-4 overall, 7-10-3 ECAC) closes out its regular season with two crucial conference games. On Friday, Princeton will face No. 18 Dartmouth (13-10-4, 9-8-3) in Hanover before travelling to Cambridge to face Harvard (8-16-3, 5-13-2).
