On Tuesday, the softball team (22–17 overall, 14–4 Ivy League) made their way to Villanova for a doubleheader against the Wildcats (29–18 overall, 13–5 Big East). The Tigers left the series with a split, winning the first game but dropping game two.

This past weekend, Princeton softball (21–16 overall, 14–4 Ivy League) welcomed the Harvard Crimson (23–14–1, 13–5) to Strubing Field, in a matchup featuring the top teams in the conference. Earning the hard-fought series win, the Tigers took the Friday opener before splitting the Saturday doubleheader. More importantly, the Tigers’ Friday win secured their spot in the Ivy League Championship.

This past weekend, Princeton’s softball team (17–14 overall, 10–2 Ivy League) welcomed the Columbia Lions (10–18, 6–6) to Strubing Field for a three-game series. The Tigers went into the weekend tied with the Harvard Crimson atop of the Ivy standings, but left the weekend with sole possession of first place after a series sweep against the Lions.

On Wednesday, the Princeton Tigers (14–14 overall, 7–2 Ivy League) hosted the Lehigh Mountain Hawks (27–7, 6–0 Patriot League) for their third and final matchup of the season, producing a solid 10–4 victory. These two teams’ previous matchups this spring saw the Tigers lose 3–5 and 1–5 on March 12 and 15, respectively. This was only the second time this season that the Tigers have scored ten or more in a game, the first being their 12–0 victory against Yale on March 18.

On Wednesday, softball (11–13 overall, 5–1 Ivy League) traveled to Lawrenceville for a midweek double-header against the Rider Broncs (6–16, 0–0 MAAC). The Tigers emerged victorious in both games.

This past weekend, softball (9–13 overall, 5–1 Ivy League) traveled to Providence, R.I. for a three-game series against the Brown Bears (4–13, 2–4), winning two of three. Princeton entered the series 3–0 in Ivy League play, having swept the Yale Bulldogs (8–14, 2–4) the week prior.

Despite early-season setbacks and a double-digit deficit early in the second half of the Ivy Madness final, Princeton women’s basketball (23–5 overall, 12–2 Ivy League) has emerged victorious, with their fourth Ivy Championship and second-consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament following a 54–48 win over Harvard (17–11, 9–5) Saturday night.

On Friday, March 10, the women’s basketball team (22–5 overall, 12–2 Ivy League) advanced to the Ivy League Tournament championship game, extending their win streak to 14 games by defeating the Penn Quakers (17–11, 9–5) in the semifinals, 60–47. Despite the Tigers opening up a double-digit lead in the first half, the Quakers rallied back to cut it to single digits in the third quarter. Princeton ultimately held on, with three scorers in double figures and three players grabbing at least six rebounds.

After a rollercoaster start to the year, Princeton women’s basketball (21–5 overall, 12–2 Ivy League) managed to right the ship and finished the Ivy League regular season with their 13th-straight win last Friday at Penn (17–10, 9–5).
