Ten months after the end of the world as we knew it, the Orange Bubble is almost entirely unrecognizable. Prospect Avenue, once home to upperclassmen dining and campus nightlife, now boasts shuttered mansions and unusually clean sidewalks. Paw print stickers placed six feet apart line every building entrance. The dining hall tables that used to barely contain the chattering and hungry masses now allow seating for only one or two. Under COVID-19 restrictions, 2,887 undergraduate students have been discovering what it means to live on campus without the elements that typically make up the quintessential college experience.

Performing on the popular morning talk show Good Morning America (GMA), the Tones were broadcast into the homes of millions of Americans on Christmas morning around 7:30 a.m. EST.

Glenna Jane Galarion ’21 is the opening act for Jason Derulo, the headliner chosen for virtual Fall 2020 Lawnparties. Born in Tokyo, Glenna Jane considers Las Vegas her hometown, but she is currently living in Ocean City, N.J. She is an anthropology concentrator with certificates in theater and music theater. Glenna Jane will be accompanied by Louis Larsen ’24 on drums, Ewan Curtis ’23 on bass, Christien Ayers ’23 on guitar, and Ed Horan ’22 on keys. The Daily Princetonian sat down with Glenna Jane to discuss the event and her music. The following transcript has been lightly edited for clarity and concision.
