Jessica Lee, who has served senior admission positions at the University and Barnard College, has been named the new director of admission.
Lee helped oversee the operations of the undergraduate Office of Admission and management of admission staff. Now as director of admission, she will coordinate student recruitment, working with Dean of Admission Janet Rapelye to “develop long-term goals and policies and to implement recruitment strategies, including those supporting the racial and socioeconomic diversity of the incoming class,” according to a statement from the University.
“We are thrilled to have Jess Lee as our new director and she is making a seamless transition into this leadership role,” Rapelye said. “She will be working with our office as well as other members of our campus community as we admit and enroll the Class of 2021 over the next few months.”
