Nathan Lindell '03 was arrested Jan. 15 by Princeton Borough Police for allegedly shoplifting a bottle of Pepto-Bismol from the U-Store, according to a police report.
A U-Store employee reported seeing Lindell place the bottle in his jacket pocket. Lindell then allegedly paid for another item and attempted to leave without paying for the Pepto Bismol, according to the report.
Lindell was detained by store security until the police arrived. He was taken to police headquarters and released on his own recognizance, according to the statement.
Lindell, however, yesterday denied charges that he intentionally left the store without paying for the medicine. "It was in my pocket and I just forgot about it," he said.
