U. to host blood drives for the Red Cross

The drive was planned after the Red Cross was “losing hundreds of pints without anywhere to replace them.”

On Oct. 14 and 15, the University will be hosting a blood drive to benefit the American Red Cross from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fields Center building at 58 Prospect Avenue.

FluFest offers free vaccines to on-campus and off-campus students

Students living on campus and those approved to visit campus for ROTC or research purposes will be required to receive a flu shot by Nov. 6. Students living locally off campus will also be allowed to attend FluFest to receive a free immunization.

I thought I took every precaution. I still tested positive for COVID-19.

The University has no plans of reversing its new course of action for the fall, due to what Deputy University Spokesperson Michael Hotchkiss described as “a high degree of instability in state regulations and guidance for higher education.”
