Men’s basketball vs. St John’s at Madison Square Garden, 74–89
Both the men’s and women’s soccer teams will face Harvard this Saturday on Sherrerd Field at the Class of 1952 Stadium. The men’s team will kick off the back-to-back games at 3 p.m., while the women’s team will conclude the day, kicking off at 6 p.m.

The second week of competition for the women’s tennis team was divided into two tournaments: the Milwaukee Tennis Classic and the Cissie Leary Invitational at the University of Pennsylvania. Representing Princeton in Milwaukee were first-year Brianna Shvets, senior captain Nicole Kalhorn, junior Clare McKee, and sophomore Stephanie Schrage. Meanwhile, first-year Grace Joyce, sophomore Nathalie Rodilosso, senior captain Catalina Vives, and junior Tiffany Chen were sent to Penn.

The women's tennis team gets set to defend its Ivy League title as it kicks off the fall 2018 season this weekend. The Tigers will host the Princeton Invitational at the Cordish Family Pavilion and Lenz Tennis Center throughout the weekend, where they will match up in both singles and doubles against Syracuse University, Temple University, and University of Pennsylvania.
Sophomore Maya Walton looked to repeat last year’s success in the NCAA women’s golf championships, to which she earned an individual bid by qualifying in fifth place at the 2017 NCAA Athens Regional. At this year’s three-round regional tournament at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, however, Walton fell short of securing an individual bid to the NCAA finals in Oklahoma, while the team also failed to secure a team bid.
In a repeat of the final game of conference play, the women’s lacrosse team will face Columbia (6–9 overall, 3–4 Ivy) in the first game of the Ivy League tournament. The Tigers (10–5, 6–1) beat the Lions this past Saturday to secure their fifth consecutive Ivy title and 14th title overall. Now the two teams will fight for a coveted spot in the NCAA tournament. The Princeton side will look for a repeat of its 22–16 victory as it hosts its Ivy League rivals on Sherrerd Field.
The women’s lacrosse team defeated Columbia, 22–16, on April 28 to claim the Ivy League championship title. The win earned the team their fifth consecutive and fourteenth overall Ivy League title. As this season’s champions, the Tigers will host the Ivy League Tournament next weekend.
The women’s lacrosse team looked to redeem a 12–15 loss against Dartmouth (6–1, 2–0 Ivy League) last Saturday as it faced No. 11 Syracuse on Thursday night. The home game, however, concluded with a tough 16–17 defeat for the Tigers. Halfway through regular season play, the team is now 4–4 in the season and 1–1 in the Ivy League.
Freshman midfielder Kyla Sears of women’s lacrosse was nervous before the team’s opening match against Temple on Feb. 17. She usually listens to music or braids her hair to calm her nerves before a game, but before the start of the first game of her collegiate career, she relied on her teammates.
Led by senior captains Camille Sullivan and Abby Finkelston, the reigning Ivy League champion women’s lacrosse team is hoping to continue the momentum from last spring’s successful season to reclaim its conference title and clinch a spot in the NCAA Final Four.
Men’s basketball @ Dartmouth: W 64–47
The women’s lacrosse team opened its spring season against Temple (2–2 overall) last Saturday, clinching its first victory,17–4. The Tigers now sit at No. 9 in the IWCLA poll and No. 12 in the Cascade Media poll.
The men’s tennis team (4–3) headed into last weekend’s three matches looking for redemption after two consecutive losses against Portland and Washington. Next on the schedule for the Tigers were Mississippi (8–2) on Friday and the University at Buffalo (3–4) and Army (2–6) on Sunday. Though the team lost against Mississippi on Friday, they clinched two wins against Buffalo and Army to wrap up the weekend.
The women’s lacrosse team had an exciting run in the NCAA Tournament, having defeated Cornell to face Penn State in the quarterfinal round.
After qualifying 10 athletes for Day Two, the women’s track and field team finished in third place in the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship with 103 points.
The men’s tennis team concluded its regular spring season with a 4-3 victory against Penn on Saturday at the Lenz Tennis Center.
Both the men’s and women’s track and field teams are competing at the 123rd annual Penn Relays on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
The men’s lacrosse team (9-4, 4-1 Ivy League) pulled out an exciting victory against the Harvard Crimson (5-7, 1-4) last Saturday in the last home game of the season. The Tigers finished the game on top at 12-9 to earn a spot in the Ivy League tournament semifinals.
