No. 17 women’s lacrosse (4–3 overall, 1–1 Ivy League) secured their first Ivy League victory of the season against the unrankedCornell Big Red (6–3, 2–1) on Saturday, March 25 in Ithaca. The cold weather did not stop Princeton’s dominance on both sides of the field, as they won the game, 15–11.

On Saturday afternoon, No. 15 women’s lacrosse (2–2 overall, 0–1 Ivy League) fell to the No. 22 Yale Bulldogs (3–1, 1–0) in their Ivy League opener by a score of 10–15.

The Princeton men’s lacrosse team (1–0 overall, 0–0 Ivy League) opened their season with a massive victory over the Monmouth Hawks (0–1, 0–0 Colonial), putting up an impressive 22 goals to the Hawks’ nine at home Saturday afternoon in a repeat of last year’s 22-goal rout of the West Long Branch squad.

As a captain of the women’s softball team who will begin their quest to defend their 2022 Ivy League regular-season crown on Feb. 24, senior outfielder Serena Starks has shown tremendous leadership on the field. However, Starks’ legacy is defined not only by her athletic success, but also by her commitment to disability awareness, community service, and creating spaces for Asian student-athletes.

The Princeton women’s hockey team (4–4–0 overall, 2–4–0 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference) went one and one this weekend after playing St. Lawrence (7–9–0, 2–3–0 ECAC) and Clarkson (13–4–1, 3–3–0). Both games were held at home, in Hobey Baker Rink.

The women’s volleyball team (21–3 overall, 13–1 Ivy League) officially clinched the Ivy League regular-season title after wins against the Columbia Lions (6–17, 3–11) and the Cornell Big Red (6–17, 4–10). These final two regular season games were a clean sweep, with the Tigers winning all six sets of the weekend.

This past Friday, No. 7 Princeton field hockey (13–5 overall, 7–0 Ivy League) fell 5–2 to the No. 9 Syracuse Orange (16–6, 3–3 Atlantic Coast Conference) in the hard fought battle of the first round of the National College Athletics Association (NCAA) tournament.

The Princeton field hockey team (13–4 overall, 7–0 Ivy) finished their regular-season play on Saturday against the Columbia Lions (6–11, 3–4). The 3–1 victory clinches undefeated league play for the Tigers as they prepare for the postseason.

On Wednesday, the Princeton women’s field hockey team (8–4, 2–0 Ivy) finished their non-league play with an outstanding performance against the Monmouth Hawks (4–7, 1–1 Colonial). Aggressive play from the Tigers earned them a 6–1 win to carry them toward the end of their season.

The Princeton Tigers (7–4 overall, 2–0 Ivy League) finished their weekend in Connecticut with a huge 4–2 victory over the UConn Huskies (7–3, 2–1 Big East). The Tigers were aggressive from the start, and Princeton defense continued to impress, with the Huskies not scoring until the final six minutes of the game.

The Princeton Tigers (5–4, 1–0 Ivy) lost their fourth game of the season to the Lafayette Leopards (3–7 overall, 0–2 Patriot) last Sunday, Sept. 25 at their home Bedford field. The huge upset ended in overtime for the third time this season for the Tigers.
