The women’s hockey team returned to Baker Rink for the first time in a month with back-to-back wins against Connecticut.
This Saturday, the women's basketball team is on the road again, heading to Georgetown for its second away game in a row. The Tigers (2-1) look to continue a two-game winning streak, while the Hoyas (1-2) have lost their past two games.
The weekend ended on a high note for the women’s soccer team, as it dominated the senior night game against Cornell with a 4-0 win at Roberts Stadium. The penultimate game for the Tigers (7-5-4 overall, 1-4-1 Ivy League) was the last home game for the seniors, as well as their first Ivy win this season.
The women’s soccer team hopes that its home-field victory against Lehigh will be a jumping-off point for turning its season around. The Tigers’ (5-4-3 overall, 0-3 Ivy League) 2-1 victory against the Mountain Hawks (3-8-2, 1-4 Patriot League) was their first win after four straight games without a victory.
Despite strong performances by many individual players, the women’s volleyball team suffered a major setback in its hunt for the Ivy League championship this weekend, dropping both of this weekend’s away matchups.

The Tigers (4-6 overall, 0-0 Ivy League) fell to Bryant (2-13, 0-0 NEC) in a 1-3 loss on Friday. On Saturday, the team started strong with a sweep of Lowell (0-11, 0-0 America East). Princeton looked to continue the streak with a win in the first set against Stony Brook (5-10, 0-0 America East), but it couldn’t maintain the momentum and ended the day with another 1-3 loss.
This week, the ‘Prince’ sat down with sophomore Brad Wachtell of the No. 15 men’s water polo team. Coming out of this weekend’s Princeton Invite undefeated, Wachtell chatted about team dynamics, the water polo brotherhood and his hidden talent for singing.
In its first game of the season last Friday, the women's volleyball team came out on top after losing its first set with a 3-1 victory at George Mason to kick off a three-match tournament. On Saturday, the team started strong, beating Coppin State with a sweep in three sets. However, things got a little rocky for the Tigers during the second match of the day. The freshman class, which made a big impression in the first two games, was unable to compete due to orientation activities, and a delayed start left the team a little frazzled, resulting in a 3-0 loss to Radford.
