ILANA GLAZER PERFORMANCE: Ilana Glazer, known for her work in “Broad City” and “A Strange Loop,” took the stage in Princeton on Wednesday night. Abigail Goldberg-Zelizer ’24 worked to bring Glazer to campus through the Center of Jewish Life (CJL). Working with president of CJL Amichai Feit ’23, the two students proposed the idea to host her alongside Jordan Salama ’19. Dean Thomas Dunne believed this event would provide students with an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of comedy and a chance to reflect on pop culture.

ARMENIAN SOCIETY: The Princeton Armenian Society, led by co-presidents Katerina Hovnanian-Alexanian ’25 and Hayk Yengibaryan ’26, has been working to raise awareness about the recent invasion of the Republic of Armenia by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which has resulted in violent conflict and massive displacement. This past March, the Society has invited the Armenian Ambassador to the United States, Lilit Makunts, to campus and has been working with student organizations from universities across the country. On Sept. 20, the Society posted an open letter and a list of resources online, enlisting the support of the Princeton community.

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) has proposed a significant change to the referendum process by which student petitions can wind up on a USG election ballot. Columnists Christofer Robles, Abigail Rabieh, Nate Howard, and Mohan Setty-Charity offer their reactions to this proposed change. Setty-Charity writes, “Aside from the change to the referendum process, referring student petitions to USG ‘hearings’ is a rather impotent bureaucratic solution.”

Rah Rah Rah! The Princeton Tigers (1–0, 0–0 Ivy League)  aim to take down the Lehigh Mountain Hawks (1–2, 1–0 Patriots League) this Saturday at 3 p.m. at Powers Field.

The Tigers displayed an electrifying season opener with a 39–14 victory against Stetson, demonstrating the continuity of excellence from the Tigers of last season.

Head Coach Bob Surace ’90 told the ‘Prince’ that despite the clear victory, there were a few mistakes that needed to be corrected, which he anticipates will be resolved for this Saturday in Tiger territory. Powers Field has historically been an area of explosive energy due in part to the overwhelming support of the Princeton family. The Tigers defeated the Mountain Hawks last year at Lehigh 32–0 and now anticipate a large turn-out for this Saturday’s battle.
