On Tuesday, long-time disability rights activist Judy Heumann talked to a Princeton Zoom audience about intersectional activism, the Jewish community, and inclusive campuses. Heumann has held positions in presidential administrations and international institutions, and she spoke at an event organized by the Center for Jewish Life (CJL). In her talk, Heumann advocated for “coming together to go apart,” or learning from those with disparate backgrounds and experiences through ongoing discussion.

This semester, students can once again try out for nine of Princeton’s dance groups, including BodyHype, diSiac, and eXpressions. Prospective members will submit videos of company-specific choreography. In the fall, a collection of dance groups under the Performing Arts Council (PAC) canceled all auditions due to disparities in technological access and other equity concerns, but some companies have decided to go ahead this semester with the virtual format.

OPINION: Guest Contributor Daniel Te ’21 says that he won’t vote in the Young Alumni Trustee election. Why? He argues that the candidates' profiles are inadequate, and that “[w]ithout information on ‘who’ these candidates are, or even what they stand for policy-wise, the election amounts to a popularity contest, a ‘who knows who.’”
